Made of hand-honed marble, the Annex tables use only gravity to join them together. Designed by Joe Doucet, Annex is commissioned by the Shop at The Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum.

Calvert and Charlotte Tables
Developed in the 1950s by renowned architect and designer Ferdinand Kramer, Calvert and Charlotte coffee tables are some of the earliest examples of flat-pack furniture. Each table is made from a single plywood sheet; the top is cut from the center, and the base is formed from the remaining board. The re-editions are produced by German company e15.

Two weeks ago, I mentioned that Konstantin Grcic is one of my favorite designers. Except Tom Tom & Tam Tam Tables, I haven’t posted any of his projects yet. So here is a series of colorful and versatile tables; each is called Diana with a letter from A to F. Using only folds and intuitively playing with negative and positive space, he has created these beautiful 3-D forms out of single metal sheets. Manufactured by ClassiCon.
